Imad Nassereddine is Chief Traffic Operations Officer of 407 ETR. In this position, Mr. Nassereddine oversees the development, analysis and management of all activities related to traffic operations and revenue forecasts and the management of toll rate strategies for 407 ETR. He is also responsible for the overall delivery of a cost effective program for the maintenance and operations of the 108 km electronic toll highway, including all infrastructure maintenance, winter maintenance, traffic operations and patrols, and the management of all policing and enforcement activities along 407 ETR.
Mr. Nassereddine has over 20 years experience in the transportation field. Prior to joining 407 ETR, Mr. Nassereddine was Manager, Transportation Systems & Highway Illumination, at SNC-Lavalin Inc. At SNC-Lavalin, he was responsible for the overall project management and administration of traffic engineering, ITS, highway and transit planning, and design projects. In addition to his Canadian transportation experience in both the public and private sectors, he also worked on transportation projects internationally in cities such as Istanbul, Moscow, Bangkok, and Tianjin, China.
In late 1998 and early 1999, Mr. Nassereddine was also responsible for preparing traffic and revenue forecasts as part of the “ETR Consortium” bid for submission to the Province of Ontario for the $3.1 billion purchase of 407 ETR, making it the largest privatization deal in Canadian history.
Mr. Nassereddine's technical expertise include a wide range of planning and design capabilities in both urban and rural transportation systems, travel demand modeling and forecasting, highway infrastructure feasibility studies, freeway traffic management and operations, illumination, parking and signage.
Mr. Nassereddine holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning field.
