Murray Paton is 407 ETR's General Counsel.

Mr. Paton is a retired partner of one of Canada's premier law firms and a member of the Ontario and Alberta Law Societies. For over 32 years, he has focused on business, corporate and commercial law, primarily within the financial services industry, including banking, insurance and reinsurance institutions. In addition, Mr. Paton serves as Officer and Director for several not-for-profit entities.

Mr. Paton holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) from York University and his LL.B., from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto.
