Vice President, Tolling & Highway Operations
Craig White joined 407 ETR in September 2004 and has served as the Vice President of Tolling and Highway Operations since April 2010. Mr. White is a Professional Engineer with a BASc in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo, who has acquired over 30 years of experience in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management and Operations on a wide variety of projects and positions in a number of organizations and disciplines around the world. Prior to joining 407 ETR, Mr. White was the Director of Project Operations at Aecon Infrastructure, where he was involved in the Cross-Israel Highway project, the Quito Airport Concession and was responsible for Atlantic Highways Management Corporation, the operator of Highway 104 in Nova Scotia.
Mr. White managed the development and implementation of the toll system as part of the original Highway 407 ETR construction. In addition to tolling, Mr. White also managed all activity associated with the design, fabrication and installation of the highway’s signage, coordinated and negotiated the relocation of utilities with municipalities and utility companies, acted as the liaison between construction and operations and was responsible for the opening of each section of the highway to traffic as the work was completed and commissioned by the Province of Ontario.
