In the Community
407 ETR and our employees are committed to giving back to the communities we serve. It's important to us.
We would like to thank the many hard-working and dedicated organizations we work with on a daily basis that bring communities together and change lives in different ways, each and every day.
One Big Day
Every year, on One Big Day, 407 ETR employees volunteer at a variety of community organizations and not-for-profits across Highway 407 ETR’s corridor. Activities include building furniture for those less fortunate; carrying out tasks for youth, homeless and women’s shelters; preparing and delivering meals to those in need; mentoring youth; supporting senior’s residences; and cleaning up litter in green spaces.
407 ETR sponsors youth sports teams in communities along the highway. In doing so, we help make it possible for kids in the Greater Toronto Area to develop valuable skills, stay active and build lasting friendships.
In 2016, we sponsored more youth sports teams than ever, with teams located in every town and city along the highway.
"The 407 ETR Gold Level sponsorship helps the Richmond Hill Soccer Club provide year-round leagues, camps, clinics and special events to over 7,000 players, 500 volunteers and 100 game officials,"
General Manager, Richmond Hill Soccer Club.
We would like to wish all 407 ETR sponsored teams and organizations a safe, fun and active upcoming season!
Hospitals and Rehabilitation
As a company, we asked our customers the areas of the community they most wish to see us support and hospitals were amongst the highest noted. As part of our community support programs, 407 ETR has, on behalf of our valued customers and dedicated employees, made contributions to several area hospitals. We thank our customers and staff for their support, and the hospitals for offering life-changing services to the communities we serve.

We take our responsibility to the environment very seriously. In fact, at 407 ETR, we have our own Environmental Policy.
Through a longstanding partnership with Evergreen, a national not-for-profit organization, 407 ETR not only donates to environmental initiatives each year, but our employees get their hands dirty by participating in multiple tree-planting events in communities along the highway corridor.
