407 ETR adding a new lane in each direction from York- Durham Line to Brock Road.

Use extra care when driving through construction zone.

407 ETR is hard at work constructing a new lane in each direction between York-Durham Line and Brock Road. During this period, the existing lanes have been shifted to the right and the lanes will be a little narrower during construction. A barrier wall has also been set up to keep workers safe during construction. While the speed limit through the area remains 100 km/h, please pay extra attention and be prepared to stop for construction vehicles, workers or the vehicles ahead of you. Use extra caution and do not drive distracted.

There will be delays during construction but we have made every effort to minimize their impact. We want to thank you for your patience while we make 407 ETR an even better choice for drivers using this part of the highway.

The new lane in each direction will be completed by September 2018.

Please Note: Expect some non-peak hour lane reductions as necessary to facilitate this construction.

Please note closures are weather permitting and are subject to change without notice.
Work to improve and maintain the highway will take place at various locations throughout the spring and summer. Most work will take place in off-peak hours and weekends. There may be temporary night time closures, not included in this list.
