407 ETR Team Raises $59,887 for United Way
TORONTO, February 11, 2007
407 ETR and its employees announced a donation of $59,887.05 to United Way of York Region today. The donation represents fundraising activities conducted in November 2006 and the company’s pledge to donate twice the amount the employees gave.
“Once again our employees have shown how much they value their community and wish to help those in need,” said Antonio de Santiago, President and Chief Executive Officer of 407 ETR. “After winning a United Way Spirit Award in 2005, 407 ETR employees embraced the campaign again this year and increased their participation rate by five per cent. I’m proud of our employees and of the United Way for the work they do in our communities.”
The volunteer Chair of United Way of York Region’s 2006 Campaign Cabinet applauds 407 ETR’s efforts to support United Way.
