Santa Claus Is Coming To Town... Thanks To 407 ETR

TORONTO, November 14, 2008

Santa Claus is on his way and 407 ETR is helping him arrive on time – as a proud sponsor of the 2008 Brampton Santa Claus Parade.

The Parade is one of the largest evening parades in Canada. Over 150,000 people attended last year's parade, with even more expected this year. Spectators line the streets of downtown Brampton to watch all the performers and floats and, of course, to catch a glimpse of Santa Claus himself.

"We're big fans of Santa at 407 ETR and proud to be a part of such a great family event," said Antonio de Santiago, President and Chief Executive Officer of 407 ETR. "We're always happy to give back to the community. Many of our customers and employees live in Brampton and have the opportunity to enjoy this fun and entertaining parade."

Thanks to 407 ETR's involvement, two new marching bands are part of the parade this year. The Burlington Teen Tour Band, participants in the upcoming 2009 Tournament of Roses Parade, will be performing, as well as the Orchard Park High School Band, the reigning New York State champions.

In addition to sponsoring this year's Brampton Santa Claus Parade, 407 ETR proudly supports many other organizations, including the Hospital for Sick Children, York University and the United Way of York Region.

407 ETR Concession Company Limited ("407 ETR") is the operator and manager of Highway 407, which extends 108 kilometres east-west, just north of Toronto. 407 International Inc., the sole shareholder of 407 ETR, is owned by a consortium comprised of Cintra Concesiones de Infraestructuras de Transporte, Macquarie Infrastructure Group and SNC-Lavalin.
