Lydia Iacovou
Vice President, Human Resources
Lydia Iacovou joined 407 ETR in May 2003 and was appointed as the Vice President, Human Resources in August 2020. During her time at 407 ETR, she since taken on increasing responsibility, with active involvement in various corporate initiatives, as well as employment engagement strategies and labour relations matters in her most recent role as Human Resources Director. Ms. Iacovou has over 20 years of experience in the human resources field. Prior to joining 407 ETR, Ms. Iacovou worked with IBM and a number of retail organizations including Loblaws, Best Buy and Sears Canada.
Ms. Iacovou frequently attends industry-leading courses, seminars and conferences to develop her knowledge of new developments in human resources management and labour relations, and is also part of global Labour and Employee Relations professional group. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Toronto and is an active member in the community, with a particular interest in initiatives focused on homeless youth.
