Sebastian Berardi
Managing Director, Infrastructure, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board
Sebastian Berardi was appointed to the Board of Directors in February 2026. Mr. Berardi holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Mr. Berardi is a Managing Director at CPP Investments’ Infrastructure team. Earlier in his career, Mr. Berardi was responsible for originating, executing, and managing investments across the transportation, utilities, energy, water, and telecommunications sectors in Latin America.
Since joining CPP Investments in 2014, Mr. Berardi has worked on several infrastructure investments globally, including Transportadora de Gas del Perú, a power generation joint venture with Votorantim Energia in Brazil, Igua Saneamento in the water sector in Brazil, FCC Enviro in the waste sector, and an investment in the toll road sector in Mexico through IDEAL. Prior to joining CPP Investments, Mr. Berardi worked at Tenaris in various engineering roles in the oil and gas and steel manufacturing industries.
Mr. Berardi is a member of the Corporate Governance & Compensation Committee, Environmental, Health & Safety Committee, Audit Committee and the Executive Committee.
