One Simple Bill Terms & Conditions

One Simple Bill is offered by 407 ETR Concession Company Limited (“407 ETR”) under these terms and conditions (the “OSB Terms”). References to “you” and “your” mean the primary account holder and all other account holders added to this Application, and “us”, “our” and “we” mean 407 ETR. By participating in One Simple Bill, you agree to be fully bound by the OSB Terms.

1. Bill Consolidation. One Simple Bill will replace your existing 407 ETR bills. To permit this, all accounts must be paid in full prior to bill consolidation and the primary account holder must immediately inform all other account holders of the OSB Terms, any updates to them, as well as other relevant communications under Sections 5 and 6. We may include in One Simple Bill your other accounts of which we become aware.

2. Payment. The primary account holder is responsible for payment of One Simple Bill, and if pre-authorized payment is the chosen method of payment, the credit card or bank account for this purpose must be in their name. However, all account holders, individually and collectively, are responsible for all outstanding amounts. Non-payment may result in cancellation of One Simple Bill, licence plate denial and/or other actions described under our Billing & Payment Terms. When you make payments or we adjust your accounts in One Simple Bill, we retain the right to determine how money will be allocated, including the accounts payments will be applied to.

3. Account Changes. With respect to personal accounts, you agree that all account holders listed in the Application will be alternate contacts and can make changes to One Simple Bill account information. With respect to business accounts, all account holders may access One Simple Bill account information but only the primary account holder can make changes.

4. Privacy. Upon consolidation, personal information disclosed in a bill, such as travel details, vehicle or plate information and amounts owing, will be shared among all account holders for account management purposes. 5. Communications. One Simple Bill and other communications from us will be addressed to the primary account holder only and may be sent by email or other electronic means (with a same-day deemed delivery) or by regular mail (with a 5-day deemed delivery).

6. Amendments. We may change the OSB Terms at any time and will notify you of such changes in advance. If the change entails an increase in your obligations or a reduction in our obligations and you do not agree to them, you may end your One Simple Bill pursuant to Section 7.

7. Termination. To cancel One Simple Bill and terminate the OSB Terms as a primary account holder, simply access your My Account via the website and remove the plates you wish to stop managing. Alternatively, you can contact us at 407etr.com/support. We will process your request within 45 days of notification, and you will then receive individual bills. We may cancel One Simple Bill and terminate the OSB Terms, in our sole discretion, at any time and without notice to you, resulting in individual bills for each account holder. Notwithstanding the cancellation of One Simple Bill, each account holder will continue to be responsible for all outstanding amounts owing on One Simple Bill, individually and collectively, prior to the date of the individual bills. If an outstanding balance remains after the cancellation of One Simple Bill, and if your account is pre-authorized for payment, we may charge your credit card or debit your bank account for such balance.

8. Transponders. If you lease a transponder, the OSB Terms will apply in addition to the transponder lease terms and conditions, accessible at 407etr.com/en/transponder-lease-agreement.

9. ETR Rewards. 407 ETR’s loyalty rewards program is available to customers who sign-up to One Simple Bill. The primary account holder and all other account holders listed in this Application are eligible for ETR Rewards, provided they separately enrol in the program and satisfy all program requirements. Business accounts are not eligible. Account holders cannot earn reward points on vehicles not registered in their name even if such vehicles are on One Simple Bill. 10. Governing Law. The OSB Terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada, and any dispute, proceeding or claim arising out of or in connection with this Application or the OSB Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Ontario courts.
